FS/FT 98 TransAm WS6, 6 speed, super clean
I have only owned hondas and i really wanted a type r before i bought this car. I know some V8 guys are in here also so i figure id put it up for sale or trade to see if there is any interest.
10,500 or trade.** I REALLY WANT A TYPE R!!!!!**
First off let me say im firm on the price and im not willing to negotiate at all. The car is a weekend driver for me and i dont NEED to sell it id LIKE to sell it.
When i bought the car the only mods done to it were:
-SLP Lid
-Magnaflow Catback
-BMR Pan Hard Bars
-Kicker Amp running the Polk Audio speakers in the car.
Definately a well taken care of car, rust free, clean paint, runs and drives like it should.
-Does not burn any oil or leak any fluids
-Transmission shifts perfect, no grinds or pop outs.
-Ice Cold AC
-Interior is very very clean, no rips in the seats or carpet.
-Recently did a full coolant flush.
Since i have owned the car:
-Just installed brand new Nitto Nt05 tires ($700 with road hazard waranty)
-WS6 Store "short stick" shifter ($25)
-Sound deadening mat ($60)
-Motive Performance 410 gear set ($188)
-Ratech gear install kit ($109)
-2 Quarts Royal Purple 75w90 ($41.98)
-1 Limited Slip Gear additive ($9.59)
-Shop Labor to install the gears ($600)
Extras that i have for the car that are brand new still in the box
-LS7 OEM clutch and flywheel ($400)
-Brian Tooley Racing .660 lift Platinum dual valve springs and retainers ($219)
-Brian Tooley Racing Pushrods ($104.99)
-OEM GM Crankshaft Timing Sprocket ($39.99)
-OEM GM Crankshaft Timing Sprocket Gear $21.99)
-OEM GM Timing Chain ($41.24)
-OEM GM Oil Pump ($101.82)
That is everything needed to upgrade the cam in the car
-Hooker Long tube headers with Texas Speed Offroad Y Pipe ($425.93)
**THINGS THE CAR NEEDS**
-Driver window motor installed (I have and will include a brand new window motor)
-NOTHING ELSE!!!!
Mostly interested in cash, $10,500 Firm
As for trades (absolutely no projects, rust buckets, ect) , i would consider
-K20/ K24 Swapped Hondas (with paperwork only)
- 99-00 Civic si
- Acura Integra Type R

Re: FS/FT 98 TransAm WS6, 6 speed, super clean
Will you be interested in trading for a super clean 2009 YZF yamaha r6 all original Raven Edition with gold. Minor cosmetic upgrades such as flush turning signals integrated taillight double bubble windshield and slightly lowered correctly. It has a clean title , show room condition, and always garaged. If not , bump for a clean transAm

This ws6 was very well taken care of, not beat on, and around Pittsburgh I can't find any 6 speed ws6 ta's that are not auto for around this price.

I will tell you this though, when i was looking for my car....plenty of people were selling low mile camaros/trans ams. So id message them...first question does the car burn oil. I was getting messages from people with 40k mile camaros saying "Every ls1 burns oil and this one is no different." Or "Have u heard of Piston Slap? This car has Piston slap when u start it up, but it goes away when its warm." Or some other type of issue that no one wants to deal with. I will state this again, this car does not burn or leak a drop of anything, it does not have piston slap or any other mechanical issue. I Just put $800 in getting brand new 410 gears installed and a complete rear end rebuild done.

In response to this post. I own an LS1 car. 99% of them DO burn oil. They take 5.5 quarts, usually .5 quart is gone in most cars by the time the oil is changed, rarely is it more than that, most are no loss to .5 quart loss. It's just how they're built. If anyone is turned off by the fact that an LS1 "burns oil" that's their problem. There is nothing wrong with an LS1 that burns .5 quart or less between changes.
