This is my first Subaru and I absolutely love this car but the time has come for me to move on. I built this car from scratch starting in November 2010 and have put around 16k miles on it since without a bit of trouble. I am an 11 year experienced Toyota Master Diagnostic Tech and have been playing with turbo cars for the past 8 years or so. The car has had oil changes every 3k miles with Rotella T6 5-40 Synthetic (since I've owned it) and burns no oil. I ordered an OEM replacement clutch last week and as soon as I get the time it will be installed with a resurfaced OEM flywheel since the factory clutch has finally started to show some signs of slippage on the interstate. The previous owner if the 06 donor car installed a new timing belt and water pump a few short weeks before he totaled the car at 63k. The powertrain has remained stock until around 68k when I flashed the OTS Cobb Stage 2 map, car HAS NOT been tuned within an inch of the ringland's life like some cars you'll come across. The VF39 has only been on the car for around 5k miles.
This car has never lived north of Lexington and has seen only the mildest winters, no rust here. All suspension arms and undercarriage bolts are free from rust and fully "non-seized". I have kept ALL emissions systems in working condition, no codes are defeated though the AP, this car should pass inspection in 49 states. I built this car to NOT be an overmodded heap and has served me quite well as such.
Current issues:
I never installed the SRS system when I put the car together. I planned on designing a hybrid 02/06 SRS system but decided that if I ever sold the car it would be a possible liability in the event of an accident, plus I don't like airbags, they skeeve me out. I do have 80% of the system and I can include it with the car.
Cruise doesn't work due to a broken clockspring/spiral cable.
Ideally it could use a new front bumper due to cuts made for FMIC fitment by the previous owner. I never got around to it....I guess it didn't bother me that badly.
Pics:
These are from last Sunday, it rained before I could get interior pics or take pics in a location more exciting than my driveway.
I can get more pics on request, my wife is currently driving the car while her EJ20 swapped Legacy waits for trans parts.
I see 130k Bugeyes going for $9k-$12k and 06 WRX's going for $14k-$18k
PRICE was $14K OBO
NOW $13.2K OBO

TTT
Car can come with equally clean 17x8 RPF1's instead of BBS at a reduced price.
