NO TRADES!!!
NOT PARTING OUT!!!
I always said I’d never sell it unless it was for family reasons, and that time has finally come. I built this car 10 years ago from the ground up, and it has remained virtually unchanged since 2003 or so when I put the Spoon wheels on it.
It’s for sale now.
If you want to see more history on the build including its shell pics, tons more pics in general, etc. CLICK HERE NOW

Comes with an extra OEM Honda front bumper (painted OEM excellent, but has a 3 inch dent/scratch on it - makes a perfect track bumper or road trip spare bumper)
Comes with a CoverCraft/California Car Covers indoor only microdust proof, super soft custom fit car cover - $250.00 car cover
Comes with the stock ITR catalytic converter and exhaust manifold (for emissions if you need it)
Overall the car is super clean. Paint is still in excellent shape, and it has no scratches or dents at all - not even a ding. Front bumper has a few tiny chips in it, but you have to really look for them. This car has not seen rain (intentionally) and if it has ever been rained on the water was always dried off with an Absorber, so there are no water spots AT ALL. This car has been garaged its entire life including being garaged at work if I drive it to work.
I’m an honest person and I believe in 100% disclosure, so even at the risk of thwarting some potential buyers’ interests I’m posting everything I can to give you a complete picture of the car. There are a few areas of concern that a prospective buyer deserves to know about, so read on for the “bad” as sellers usually call it.
It’s not an ideal daily driver - here’s why:
There are no windshield wipers. I still have the wiper motor if you want it, but no wiper links or arms. I did not drive the car in the rain, and Rain-X sis is magic if I ever got caught out in it.
The doors do not lock. Yes I said the doors do not lock. I have never parked this car in an insecure position, so I never needed the doors to lock. You simply only need the little plastic clips and small rods to attach the door latch to the door lock cylinders, and you’ve got locking doors. Call me lazy, but they never mattered to me.
There is no power steering or A/C. Car didn’t come with either from the factory.
There is no radio. Has OEM Honda block off plate. It has all of the provisions/wiring for the head unit and speakers, so if you want to add that stuff it’s all here as far as wiring is concerned.
Other areas of concern:
While the engine does not smoke, and does not leak oil, you do need to check and add oil depending on how hard you’re beating on it. If you’re new to B series VTEC engines then this might be news for you. Otherwise you’re used to checking/adding oil appropriately. I don’t drive the car enough to do the 3,000 mile oil changes, so I honestly cannot say exactly how much it uses every 3,000 miles. I’ve changed the oil every 6 months or so regardless of mileage.
The clutch pressure plate seems to finally be showing some age.
If you try and speed/slam shift at high rpms the transmission will be notchy and/or grind if you really try and force the shift. I’m probably making this sound worse than it is, and it may drive of some potential buyers, but I’m not out to screw anyone. I could take you for a spin in it, drive it hard, and you’d never know there was any sort of concern. I’m just all about full disclosure, so I’d say the buyer might want to think about a clutch sometime down the road. Again it’s not slipping, gears are not grinding at low rpms EVER - just being up front here.
Will not pass a state emissions test that involves the tailpipe sniffer - not without a few mods.
In its current tune, with the gutted cat, it doesn’t pass the normal state emissions. If you throw on the OEM exhaust manifold and cat converter, and toss another stockish chip in the P28 it passes no problem.
Okay so now the pictures:

Price: $6,500.00
I know you will never get the sum of its parts in an asking price, but start with a clean color changed shell done right, no dings, no scratches, perfect C/F hood, perfect Spoon wheels, perfect running B18C5, good suspension etc. etc. - you cannot duplicate this car anywhere near my asking price, even with hook ups.
Methods of contact:
1. E-mail - tomhornsby3@gmail.com - include your phone number - this will come to my phone and is THE best point of contact
2. H-T messaging - I will make an effort to check this regularly, but with the ad being across all my regular Honda forums it’s hard to keep up
Thanks for reading. I will be happy to add more specific pics upon request, and I’ll answer any other questions you might have.

I never thought i would see this day, but I can vouch for this car. Watched the build over the years and it's everything and then some you are looking for in a 92-95 Honda Civic hatch. Seen it in person at the first ever Honda-tech meet i went too in Atlanta.

Re: FS: B18C5 1992 CX HB - GA (Must See!)
I came here to say pretty much this. I have been a member since 2002 and this was one of the first cars I saw. I've loved it since day one, and if I were in the market, this car would be mine.
The price is a steal... Someone hurry up and throw him your money! haha
