Default FS: B18B Turbo EG hatch. Alabama.

You guys probably think I'm crazy since I just bought this car of this board less than two weeks ago, but I just realized that I'm just not into strait line speed like I was anymore and would much rather use my money to auto-x/track my ITR. I guess I just needed to own a really fast hatch for about a week to realize this lol. That and the fact that I have 5 cars in my yard

Since the car has only been driven an extra week this is basically a copy/paste from my friend Micheal's orginal thread. The car runs great, is fast as crap, and was put together right.

Here is his original thread:

"VIN: 2HGEH2365RH511420.

Reason for selling car is because I have 2 cars and can't afford both, there is no other reason(other than the fact I want an R6)Car has NO rust. The chassis has 200k miles on it and the swap has exactly 80k miles on it. The swap has had Mobil 1 5w30 syn ever since the motor went into the car and the car does NOT burn oil. The comp. is absolutely perfect and has been ever since boosted(only turbocharged for the past 2k miles), we can even comp. check the car for the potential buyer if need be. The body is in a 6~7/10 shape, could use a paint job and it dents and dings. The car will come with a new rear bumper that is still in bubble wrap. The car is tuned on 6psi and 10psi. On 6psi it made 198.8whp and 170.7wtq, I have the dyno sheets and the a/f readouts for proof. The car has yet to be dyno'ed on 10psi as the car was wideband tuned w/ the hondata on the street. The car has been tuned VERY conservatively. On 10psi, it runs 11.0 a/f during boost with 20deg of total timing on top. The setup reads like this:

95 B18b
Maxrev manifold
Maxrev downpipe
Tial 38mm wastegate
T3/T04e- 60 trim, .63a/r
Custom Piping
Johnnyracecar.com 6" IC
DSM BOV
DSM 450cc injectors that have been cleaned and balanced(I have the flow sheet for proof)
Flamenco T oil feed/return kit
NGK BKR7e-11's gapped at .32(no missing)
Hondata S200b tuned
Autometer oil pressure and boost guages inside. Its a 3 guage pillar pod, so the new owner can put whatever he/she wants to in there.
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Turbo XS HP manual boost controller

I put carpet in the car, a clock from a coupe, and a center arm rest from a coupe. The car is currently open DP, but I had a 3" custom crush bent exhaust made that is not on the car right now. The exh. rattles against the heat sheilds, so I took it off to pinpoint the rattles and to fix them. The cars rear plastic trim will also come w/ the car. Those were taken out so I could clean the car. The tranny has NO grinds, the car has never been revved above 7k rpms, but I have the rev limiter set at 7300rpm just to help prevent from hitting it(when you hit the rev limiter on hondata, it cuts fuel and can cause the car to detonate). The cars best time on slicks was a 13.1@104.1mph and the best street tire time was a 13.8@110.9mph. Both runs were on 10psi. On 6psi, I achieved a 13.8@105.25mph. The car has been drag raced 3 times. Once on 6psi, once on 10psi w/ street tires, and once on 10psi w/ slicks. Clutch DOES NOT slip at all, car runs perfect. The motor has a new timing belt and water pump.

Now, to the faults of the car. The car DOES NOT have A/C. The car needs a dumptube made, I have the flange, all the new owner needs to do is have an exhaust shop bend them a tube or make on. The cars radio recieves power, but its only static, it is more than likely an intenna thing. The car has some dents in it and I had to cut the front bumper to fit the piping as you can see in the pics. Mechanically, the car is as sound as they come. I did all the work myself as no one touches my cars other than myself.

Here are some pics:

Edit: And yes, there is a shitload of pollen on the car.....damn plants orchestrated a surprise attack this year.

Another edit: Here is a video of the guage cluster on 10psi, 50-115mph. Right click and save as. Need quicktime to view.

I bought it for $4,200 which was a steal, then tach on interest so $4,600 sounds fair to me to break even.

$1,500 for an LS swap. Then $2,500 for a nice turbo setup with Hondata. Thats 4k right there without figuring labor, oh and you get an EG hatch along with it Sounds like a fair asking price to me.

Ha sorry life isn't fair. I'm not 100% sure I'm going to sell it right now anyway. I might play around with it for a little while longer just to make sure. I also just realized I will have to register the thing anyway so I'm in no rush.

Dont even listen to this guy he does the same thing, buys cars and resells with jacked up prices. Example bought a B16 88-91 hatch for 2500 and tried and maybe sold for 4000 4500. I agree with you boo hoo to 94sisol. 4600 DAMN GOOD PRICE!!!!!!

Well I won't be making any money off it. I bought it for $4,200 with a loan so once you add in interest I'm not gaining anything.

Like I stated above I don't need to sell the car for any reason. I can afford it, but I'm not sure if strait line speed is where I want to focus half of my money. I'm thinking my cash would be better spent at auto-x and track events with the R.

Selling it just depends on the offers I get and how much the car grows on me in the next week or so.

Yep, that's what I do civicminded. *rolls eyes* I assumed you were a reasonable guy so I figured my $4200 offer was fair. I'd go $100 or so higher but not much. Just lemme know.

If you took out a loan two weeks ago, and yo sell it tommorrow you only have to pay for 2 weeks interest.
4200 is a fair price
And I agree with civicminded, 94si sol will buy it and have it for sale for 10000 next week

one month interest is all you would have to pay. depending on how much on how much you paid, it couldnt be over 50 bucks. so you tacked on 400 bucks to rape the car for a week or too.

Man it sure is funny how everyone gets a loan from the exact same bank as me Not all loans charge interest by the month. I pay pack $4,600 regardless of when I make payments. My last loan I got I paid off early, guess what I didn't save on the interest one cent. to people that don't know what the heck they are talking about.

Again I guess everyone missed where this is my car and I can do whatever the heck I want with it lol. Like I said new asking price is $150,000, plus one of your children.

Sorry man banks dont work like that, they may have a early payoff fee, but it is never the total amount of interest.

Again someone else who doesn't know what they are talking about.

Go get a pay on date loan and see how much you have to pay pack. Just a hint it will be the exact amount, including the interest regardless if you pay off the whole thing the very first month or wait until the very last day.

Maybe someone on this board has actually heard of the various types of loans in the world

Real banks don't work like that? Hmm that must have been one of those fake banks, I've had a checking account with them as well, weird

Yes for the 3rd time they do work like that (if you get a pay on date loan). You can get loans where you DON'T make monthly payments, you just have to pay the loan amount and a figured interest by a certain date. Please stop arguing about this, I'm right trust me, just because some of you think a monthly payment loan is the only type of loan in the world and that real banks only work one way don't go around spreading crap you are wrong about to others.
