The VIN is 1HGEM1157YL024642. There may be a double post coming that includes the VIN, which I will try to delete in a timely manner.

Front end and driver's side door was repainted in 2009. It is not rusty underneath, in the rear fenders, or in the wheel wells - just the bottom of the driver's side door. Pictures of the underneath are coming as soon as they are approved by the moderator.

I really thought that this forum would be the perfect place to sell this car, but it looks like I'm going to have to resort to Craigslist, Autotrader, etc. Does anyone have any other suggestions for me? Would one of you be kind enough to post a link to this thread on some of the other Honda forums? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

From what is stated it seems like the vehicle was well cared for. I'm somewhat surprised it now needs a rebuild. If it were in California I would buy

Absolutely. It still runs and can be driven away. It idles pretty rough but runs okay once you get rolling - just down on power. I'm sure it will go freeway speed, no problem. I didn't know what the problem was initially and was afraid it would get worse, so I parked it and haven't driven it since.

Im tempted to fly out to Ohio and drive this back to Texas. How’s the a/c? Can you provide pics of the rust that you mentioned on the bottom of the door?
