Default FS: 1997 Built GSR Integra

SOLD!

I’ve been through a lot with this car. I’ve done much more with it than I originally planned on doing when I first bought in back in early February. Back in September of ’09, my '98 GSR was totaled and I parted it out, keeping the motor to later have it rebuilt, and I did just that. The motor was done in December and just sat at my house while I searched for a shell. Sure enough, I was unable to find an EK hatch and ended up taking this car instead. In March I put the motor up for sale but after months of dropping the price and the overwhelming amount of flakers I decided to keep it and put it to use like I originally planned. But as we all know, all good things come to an end and it’s time for me to let it go, get a cheap daily, and focus on school this coming semester….

**I’ve kept a “diary” of all the work I’ve done to the car since the day I got it for both my own sake and the future owner’s sake. I’ve also documented everything I bought for the engine build including the price and date of purchase. If you are truly interested in the car PM me to see it!!!

The Car
-150,000 on body
-7,000 on built motor
-No CELs!!
-Milano Red
-9/10 interior
-8/10 exterior

The Exterior
-SiVtec Lip
-OEM front and rear mud flaps
-Rear Wiper Delete
-6,000K HIDs
-Custom tow hook
-Black GSR Swirlies
-Koni Yellow/Ground Control Suspension
-Skunk2 Catback Exhaust

The Interior
-JDM Armrest Delete
-The Original 5-Panel Wink-Collaged with random stickers!
-ARC Spherical Titanium Shift ****
-DualPod Cluster Bezel by QuadPod
-AEM Digital A/F Wideband Guage
-Autometer Oil Pressure Guage
-Python Keyless Entry/Alarm System
-Kenwood KDC-bt645u Headunit with Built-In Bluetooth (iPhone compatible)
-Pioneer Speakers all around
-GSR door panels with tweeters
-Home made trunk cover (to replace OEM garbage cardboard) made from stronger 1/4” particle board

The Bad
-The keyless entry system stopped locking the car with the button, it only unlocks it, so I lock it manually. It’s probably just a loose wire but I haven’t bothered looking into it cause it doesn’t really bother me.
-I removed all the Air Conditioning components for obvious reasons, but I kept everything for future use just in case, the buyer will get all these parts at his request. (not sure if this is really a ‘bad’ thing, guess it depends who you are)
-There is a blemish in the paint on the roof by the rear squirter. No one else notices it, but I’m picky, so I do.
-There is a small outward ding on the hood from the previous owner somehow putting the suspension in wrong or something so the top of it hit the hood when he shut it. I don’t know, I just figured I’d give you a heads up. 2 nickel size dings in the driver’s side fender (more like press-ins rather than dings) and one on the driver’s side quarter.

Under The Hood
-Brand new Stage 4 Competition Clutch
-Exedy Lightweight Flywheel
-GSR Trans, no grinds!
-Skunk2 Pro Series Intake Manifold
-PPI 68mm Throttle Body
-DC Sports Header
-DC Sports Intake
-CEL acts as shift light at 8,600rpm
-Sandwich Plate Adapter for easy gauge system installation
-DIY 3M Window Weld mounts (slightly stiffer than OEM mounts, feels great and prevents wheel hop)
-Power steering and cruise control have been removed and I didn’t save the parts. I didn’t feel as though I needed them, I don’t have any problems driving without them, I actually prefer it!

**Below is a list of all of the items that went into the build, the date of purchase, part numbers, and price.

Paperwork:

All the engine work was done by:
IDM Cylinder Heads
870 N Main St, Stafford Twp, NJ 08050

**I started the car up and broke it in on a Phearable Chipped/Basemapped P28. 500 miles put on car before tune using the gradual RPM method
(Take the car to 3k rpm and engine brake back to 1.5k, take the car to 3.5k, engine brake, 4k, engine brake, etcetc. up to 7k. no consistent speeds, constantly going through the gears and varying RPMs. Mostly city driving, stop and go, engine braking as much as possible.) The rings seated perfectly. As you will see in the “diary” it was street tuned by Mark at EmSquared Performance in Philly where he estimated it to be in the 190-200whp range.

Engine Bay Progress (Ill have a new updated pic up of how the bay looks now ASAP)
Stock

Motor out

Ready to go in

90% Done

The Car

**I’m only asking $6,800 for all of this!

**As you can see, all the work put into the car and the build bring the value you of the car just over $10,000, feel free to do the math yourself! I knew when I got involved in this, I would never get near my monies worth back when the time came to sell it, that’s just how things go in the car game, so im pretty firm on my asking price considering it’s already over a $3,000 loss on my behalf. However, I’m still willing to work with you on the price, and I’m open to your offers and input. Just please, NO LOW BALLERS!! This is a very well maintained car and I put a lot of time and hard work into it to get it where it’s gotten today. It runs flawlessly, pulls hard, and has proven to be a super reliable daily driver thus far. Thanks for your time, and please BUMP if you view!

**I’ll check my PMs regularly and if it’s easier for you, feel free to email me at drpaton2@gmail.com

Don't sell it man, not worth it! It's like artwork, has all your little touches to make it unique to you! At least keep the wink! But in all fairness I will say for all the buyers out there, this guy used to live with me/ we went to high school together and yes he is **** about his car so you wont be the least bit disappointed with a car from him. However, my first statement still stands, KEEP THIS! Its a PERFECT daily
