Description: A RETAINING CLIP THAT CONNECTS THE TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE TO THE SHIFT LEVER ACTUATING ROD CAN HAVE INSUFFICIENT RETENTION PRESSURE AND MAY EVENTUALLY COME OFF AFTER REPEATED SHIFT LEVER OPERATION. IF THIS HAPPENS, THE POSITION OF THE SHIFT LEVER MAY NOT MATCH THE ACTUAL TRANSMISSION GEAR POSITION. THIS COULD RESULT IN UNANTICIPATED VEHICLE MOVEMENT AND ACCIDENT. DEALERS WILL INSTALL AN IMPROVED RETAINING CLIP.

Overview: Review:
Review: All new this year and based on the latest Civic platform, the Integra came as before as a two door coupe or a four door sedan. There were three trim levels; RS, LS and GS-R, the latter coming only with Honda's wild little 170 hp VTEC four. The standard 142 hp four should be all most people would ever want. Build quality was of course excellent and chassis dynamics (handling, braking, etc.) were outstanding. A fine little car.
Best Features: Dual airbags; Good fuel economy; Performance
Worst Features: Expensive when new; Goofy name; The bug eyes bother some; GS-R's harsh ride
Reliability History: Very good
Depreciation: Very good
