FS: 1975 Honda Civic (1st Generation), $250/obo
*** UPDATE 8/23/04 ***
This car is for sale again! It was sold on Ebay several months ago for $300 (plus an additional $100 to hold the car for several weeks after the auction), but he has not come to pick it up, so I am keeping his money as a storage fee (he has been warned and given several weeks notice on this) and re-listing the car for sale.
Here is the link to the original auction:

The car is currently listed on ebay again:

*** UPDATE 8/23/04 ***
That's right, the great-grandfather of all our Civics. Abandoned at the local dealership because repair cost was too high, taken in by a mechanic there that registered it after fixing it up. he daily drove it to work 15+ miles each way for over a month. Sold to a friend of mine, who couldn't take it with him when he moved out of state so I inherited it.
I don't have enough money to spend to restore this thing and treat it like it should be treated (new paint, new carpet & upholstery, tune up, etc...). Needs some TLC, but is in awesome shape considering it is almost 30 years old. Wife wants it out from under the carport before we bring my Skyline home from getting legalized in a few weeks.
I've seen pics of a b16a swapped into one of these things and converted to PGM-FI. The car probably weighs less than 1500 lbs.
1975 Honda Civic
- Brown
- Dope red "H" wheel center caps on 12" steelies
- 4-speed Manual
- 75-85k miles
- runs and drives fine
- VIN: SBC3300356
- Clean Utah title in my possession
Known problems:
- odometer and tripometer don't work, they read 76,xxx miles which is within 10k of actual mileage according to original owner that left it at the dealership
- original AM radio is there, but it doesn't work, or there are no speakers (haven't figured out which)
- windshield wiper **** is missing inside, and i can't figure out how to get the wipers to move
- driver side window likes to fall off the regulator if the window is rolled more than half way down
- idles high with choke out, and stalls if choke is in (carb needs to be adjusted, i know nothing about carb'd cars, just fuel injection)
- minor fuel leak under hood on a fuel pump thingy of some sort
- 12" tires are starting to dry rot, but they hold air still just fine and drive just fine
Asking $250, no less.

Re: FS: 1975 Honda Civic (jond2062)
let me be more clear, i'll basically take any offer that someone makes me for the car. i got it for free, i owe nothing on it, and i basically just want it gone. knowing that it's going to a good home though will make me feel better about selling it.

hhhmmmmm......... h22......
that would be a fun car to *** with, go to the track all brown lookin older than dirt and run a high 12...haha
i wonder how hard it would be to do a custom setup like an h22 or b18c in that..i know it sounds ridiculous and everything would be custom, but damn that would be fun.
