f.s. crunched ef hatch w/b20vtec so.cal
this car is a true beater, the interior isnt great and the exterior is no longer great. im MAINLY selling the car to get rid of the engine and to give you guys a good deal on it. the car is basically beat (to me anyways) here's a brief description..
89dx skyblue hatch back with aprox. 177,xxx miles on the clock
car has big hairline crack on windshield, slight cracks on the tail lights, the rear window wiper doesnt work, theres small dents spread throughout the vehicle and scratches and so forth. and the windshield wiper blades need replacing.it vibrates and stuff a little cause of the mounts too no biggie. now the reason why its a beater to me, cause i woulda fixed that stuff.. medium sized dent on the drivers side door, and a gi-hugic dent (damage)on the passenger side due to a guy not paying attention who hit my ****. which prevents the door from opening and the window only rolls down about 6 inches or so on that side.
the car is gutted from the front seats back, and the seats are the og ones with some tore up seat covers to match. i have a little tiny tach that i bought a long time ago from autozone and i must say that little bastard works like a champ to this day. the plastic and the rest of the front interior isnt great kinda warn as well.
Swap done less than 3,000miles ago compliments of prostreet imports
jdm b20b block
obd0 b16 head
j1 tranny
pr3 ecu
custom mounts/linkage
new head gasket, vtec oil line (of course) change tranny fluid with oem honda mtf.
shop look at the stock clutch and was deemed in great shape. so there was no need for me to change. these guys did a great job by the way.
new parts also added..
valve cover gasket
spark plug grommets
ngk spark plugs
cap/rotor
fuel filter
autozone spark plug wires
walbro 255 fuel pump
Aproject liquid filled fuel pressure gauge
ericks racing fuel pressure regulator (used)
88-91 aem cia made into short ram (used)
dc 4-1 header (used)
880cc injectors
hondata stage 2 na
car was tuned locally by bubba from trackmasters before the whole fiasco.
internally stock and with no gears or cam timing the car made 168.3 whp and
133.7tq. (i got the dyno sheet) so the motor is very healthy. have never ran it at the track or launched it in any way. messed around once with a buddy of mine from a 10mph roll against his h22 eg coupe and i had a few cars on him by the time the begging of 4th came around and i was shifting at about 7200rpm. his car ran 14.5 at palmdale with stock 13 inch steelies by the way.
the damage in no way affects the way the car drives, doesnt pull or anything, drives straight. but like i said the motor is what this sale is mainly about. i drive the car to work and stuff everyday. it just looks ugly lol the car has a rough idle but only for a couple of minutes during warm up. but once warm the thing drives great. and idles great also the registration on the the thing was paid but it does need to be smogged (could be tough) to get the tags but that is if your actually gonna drive the car around the way it is. other wise i guess it doesnt matter. the car also has 15inch black rota slipstreams in alright condition with some nanking 195/50/15's on the back and 205/50/15 kumho ecsta's on the fronts. tires are on good condition too. good tread. i think thats about it unless i can remember some other stuff. im just looking for any decent offers here guys.
