Default 95 Civic EX - turbo 447 WHP

1995 Civic EX Coupe - B18C1 with GT3076 - 447 WHP - $6000
Location - Colorado Springs, CO
Clean title, TX tags

Please note, this car is no joke. It will smoke tires on the highway under power. The boost coming on is nasty, you have to manage the throttle on street tires. All you hear is turbo spool and it's loud. I have the wastegate plumbed to the exhaust so you never hear it open even at full throttle. I have a full 3" exhaust from the turbo back with the Greddy EVO muffler...this means there is no standard civic exhaust note. The sound is deep and nothing even remotely close to what you normally hear on the street.

See below for parts and issues. This build will support up to 51 psi and if you want to go all out, around 750+ WHP.
I am the original owner. I bought this car brand new when I was 19 and had just joined the military. No air conditioning and no power steering.

I'm asking $6000.

Let's start with the numbers: MAX - 447whp / 329 ft lb @ 21psi, STREET - 408whp / 300 ft lb @ 17psi. (E85 ONLY, not tuned for regular gas)

Car will run a 11.8-12.1 @ 127 mph, if not faster, on street tires at sea level on the street tune. Here's a video on a slower tune with about 75 less horsepower. Also, this video doesn't do the new sound justice, I will be adding an in car and in engine clip soon.

I fully expect it to run in the mid to high 12's at this elevation (6500 ft).

The car is currently on spring pressure only. At 447 the high pressure walbro 255 is nearing the limit of what it can keep up with. With an additional inline pump or full on in-tank race pump you can easily get around 470-500 WHP with just another tune. You are looking at a 500 WHP setup for less than $6500 (tune and pump on top of vehicle purchase).

The car was tuned on Neptune with E85 in 2011 by Revolutions Performance and I sent it back recently for a full mechanical checkup. Compression on the cylinders is as follows: 151, 150, 153, 150., meaning that after 6 years at 17 psi the motor is rock solid and compression is within 1% of each cylinder. Usually you're looking at 10% difference between cylinders at a MINIMUM. Revolutions is willing to vouch for this vehicle and the components used. My car was the first customer built (i.e. not revolutions) civic that made 400+ HP and didn't break on the dyno back in 2011. I used the best components for my goal of a 450HP street car. This block is built to last, rock solid, and absolutely the heart of the car.

Custom interior in fantastic condition, integra dash, gauges, console, and blower motor. Molded doors (integrated dash cutout molded to civic panel) fit the dash perfectly, with black vinyl/suede and red stitching on doors and rear seat.

Comes with extras, like original valve cover, HKS EVC IV boost controller, cam seals, KBC Large helmet, misc. parts and boxes.. Engine pics don't show the new Synchronic BOV or Tial Sport WG.

Parts
Neptune E85 tune
GT3076 DBB turbo .86 AR
B18C1 block w/stock head - block build by JoTech for Deepstage Motorsports - good to 51psi
AEBS Sleeves
JE 9.5 pistons
GE Rods
ARP pins and studs
ACT 6 puck clutch
DC2 Type R flywheel
DC2 LSD
Island Motorsports 500hp axles
Synapse Synchronic BOV
Tial Sport WG dumped to exhaust - very quiet, all turbo spool
Kteller full 3" exhaust (from turbo) with Greddy EVO muffler
Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors
Walbro 255 lph high pressure fuel pump
Energy Dynamics PCV kit
Energy Suspension motor mount kit
BBK SSI intake manifold
UR Billet Throttle-body
Integra rear trailing arms with disc brakes
AGX 4 way adjustable shocks with coilovers
Rear sway bar
Extended ARP wheel studs for slicks
Tein hood dampeners

Interior:
Full Integra GSR dash and console, with heater/blower motor
Integra doors molded to civic doors for correct dash fitting
Integra front seats
DC2 passenger air bag tray
DC2 pedal assemblies
DC2 shift ****
Short shifter
EK sun visors
Custom vinyl and suede with red stitching on doors and rear seat

AI Boost controller
Smart turbo timer
Electronic fuel pressure gauge
AC Autotechnic glow gauges
Image Dynamics 12" sub with single channel amp and cap, quick disconnect for removal before racing

Extrerior:
Custom paint
EK side mirrors
Black OEM bumpers and lower panels
Spoon front lip with Type R rear lip

Extras:
HKS EVC V Boost controller
Stock B18C1 valve cover
New cam seals and other misc parts

Issues:
Moonroof disconnected, closes prematurely and scratches roof
Transmission needs synchros, gears grind at high RPM shifts
Airbag light on due to the passenger delete
No spare tire
Front rim slightly bent, holds air perfectly
Driver side door alignment slightly off, bumps up when closing
Driver side A pillar cover missing
Trunk needs to be shut firmly to latch
Rear defroster inop
Hole in downtube flex section (under car), doesn't affect anything but drips exhaust water

What I would do:
Integra brake booster
Additional inline fuel pump or full race in-tank fuel pump - allows up to 500 WHP on current build, only tune is needed
New turbo manifold - current RLD FAB unit only works with spring pressure, boost controller is cosmetic so the max you could get is around 500 WHP with this manifold with a new tune and possibly changing springs on the WG.
Built head - originally this block was mated to a built racing head making 650 WHP
Built transmission - carbon synchros with forged drivetrain and bell housing or dog gears
Turbo - a bigger turbo will be needed to break beyond 500WHP but will be detrimental to low speed responsiveness

Interesting to me that you're still on the stock fuel rail and regulator.

Kinda like those gauges in the cluster though, it's different.

Thanks guys! She is a fun car for sure.

I've never had any issues with fuel and the ID1000's work great with the stock setup.
