94 Red Civic Si Ridgeland Mississippi
here is the deal I'm selling my Civic to make way for a 4 dr something. with a baby on the way + paying off student loans (Dave Ramsey kool-aid drinker) The civic dosen't fit in the picture.
The specs....
-94 Civic Si w/ABS
-178000 Miles
-Stock D16Z6 (Oil changed religiously every 3k miles)
-CLEAN INTERIOR. (no rips in seats)
windows were tinted in 2000 with 25% (LUMAR tint)
(I do have the MS sticker for legal tint on the windshield. last reading was 32% all 4 windows)
Mods:
MSD Blaster SS ign Coil
MSD Distrubitor cap
NGK wires
Exceedy stage 1 Racing clutch (will throw in stock clutch Pressure plate, and fly wheel)
Exceedy light weight fly wheel (11lbs compared to 18lbs stock)
(Clutch and pressure plate were replaced at 170K)
Short style air intake (will include stock intake)
Generic Short throw shifter
Aluminum Radiator
4-2-1 header
Autovox Alarm, Power door locks, with the ability to control sun roof from alarm remote.
(The alarm was meticulously installed by me when I worked at Best Buy in Hattiesburg.)
All Engine grounds Upgraded with 8ga or 4ga wire
Tsunami Batt terminal (2x4ga, 2x8ga)
Brembo OE Replace ment rotors all around
VGX Pads all around (Obtained from summit racing)
The GOOD:
CLEAN CAR. I have taken care of this car since 2000. I bought it from Troy Honda in Tuscaloosa, AL. When I bought the car new Honda genuine floor mats were thrown in.
The Car has seen at least one coat of wax a year. washed and vacuumed regularly.
The Engine is strong. No smoke. does not use a drop of oil and doesn't have any leaks in the block.
COLD A/C!!! The Entire A/C system was replaced by me last summer. (Compressor both Rubber hoses, Condenser, and expansion valve. Every O-ring seal I could get to was replaced)
It can be 100 out side and still blow cool air. (R-134a system)
The bad:
This car does have a few issues that need to be dealt with.
The transmission is going out (grind's 3rd and 5th) You can still double clutch it and it shift smoothly. I had the transmission rebiuilt at 135k by Mr.Transmission In Hattiesburg ms. The Syncros were replaced but not all of the gear sets. ( I recently learned from a honda mechanic that unless you replace the syncros and the gears you will have problems latter on)
I have not abused the trans since it was rebuilt. a quick tranny swap and it would be good to roll.
There are two dents in the body that would have to be dealt with if the car was painted.
One is right next to the Sun roof. The other is on the Drivers side Rear 1/4 Panel. (see Pics)
The car has been in a wreck. The front Valence is bent on the pass side. it was repaired and painted but the valence was straightened... not replaced.
Needs tires. I figured who ever buys it will put wheels on it any way.
Factory suspension. The stock struts are not leaking or busted but you can tell 177K miles has taken it's toll. the same can be said for the springs.
About to need timing belt (180K). Again nothing that cannot be dealt with.
STEREO DOES NOT come with the car. Sorry but The Amp, Head unit, sirrius and mb quarts stay with me. (note all was installed with the ideal of being removed.) I will put back in the factory casset deck. (unlocked of course 8-) )
WIll leave the custom enclosure in the car. it can house a 10" woofer and is about 1 cu foot.
The Price:
I'm asking $3,750 OBO.
I'm also willing to trade the car for something with 4drs and Preferably Japanese or European with a manual trans in good condition.
will meet 1/2 way up to 150 miles to deal or trade from Jackson Ms.
