92 Civic LS/VTEC Turbo 500+ HP project
For sale is my 92 Honda Civic VX with LS/VTEC swap. It will run and drive, but it will overheat if driven for more than a few miles. It has been sitting for ~8 months as I have been deployed. I think it may be the headgasket, I'm just trying to get out of it at this point as I have moved on to a Chevy SS and this will help fund the mods for that.
The VIN is: 2HGEH2361NH528936 and there is a picture of the VIN plate and title below.

If I were to be keeping this car this is what I would do to it to get it back to 100%:
-Cut carbon fiber hood to clear turbo or replace turbo with something smaller
-Get a new downpipe fabricated and either have it go out of the hood or all the way back behind the car
-Fix overheating problem (headgasket?)
-Finish interior
-Repair carbon fiber roof's gel coat
-Replace oil pan gasket (oil pan leaks, there is a MyHondaHabit oil pan gasket in the trunk and the block already has their stud kit)
-Replace resistor in S2000 cluster harness to have the fuel gauge more accurate (right now when ~1/3 of the tank is displayed it is actually empty)
As it is, the car is NOT driveable for more than a few miles. I haven't let it go over 205 degrees but I feel like it would keep creeping up if I let it.
I realize that there are a lot of parts on this car that are worth a lot of money, but I just want to get rid of it. I will let it go for $5,000 FIRM. I have the clean title in hand.
