2006 RSX Type S - Vivid Blue Pearl - Priced to sell !
2006 Acura RSX Type S Vivid Blue Pearl
Clean Texas Title - 113k miles ( daily driven )
Inspection Valid till May 2014, Registration till Jan 2014
* I am looking to sell my 2006 RSX-S because I currently need to downsize my collection. Full Coverage insurance is getting to be a bit much on multiple vehicle. I have owned the car for almost a year and taken great care of it. I had to replace the full clutch system and have been fixing little things here and there that bug me about the car. It is not perfect but makes for a great daily. I truly enjoy driving it and with the rear seats folding down, you can fit a lot of great things inside.*
On to the specs:
Interior:
* Interior condition is a 9/10
* Nice black leather interior
* Blue door panel inserts
* Factory 6 disc cd player and tape deck
*My opinion: The interior is very nice and clean overall. The driver seat is starting to un-stitch itself where your butt sits. This is a very common issue with the leather seats. The floor mats have typical wear. Acura installed NEW OEM seatbelts for the driver and passenger side because I have having trouble with them retracting properly. This was a free service which was very nice. *
Suspension
Raceland Coilovers
Purple rear lcas
Progress 24mm rear sway bar
Front sway bar not installed but included w/ the stock rear
* My opinion: The car looks great and handles well while driving nicely. If you are not familiar with Raceland coilovers, don't buy a set. They are notorious for clunking from a standstill ( look it up on google ). I will include factory suspension.*
Engine
New Exedy OEM replacement clutch w/ T.O bearing ( 10k miles on the setup )
New Clutch Master Cylinder
New Clutch Slave Cylinder
Injen Intake w/ resoviour kit
OBX V2 Race Header
Apexi World Sport 2 Exhaust
*My opinion: The car runs and drives great. The RSX-S really opens up nicely if you choose to give it some gas. I baby my cars and barely take them past 3-4k. Due to exhaust system, a CEL is on for the o2 sensor. A defouler will do the trick or you can install a factory exhaust. I do NOT have one for you.*
Wheels/Brakes:
JDM AME Tracers - Very rare - originally bronze but plastidipped white
16x7 & 16x8s if I recall correctly with 225's and 255's
Tires have 60-70% life
Brakes do not squeal and the car does not have any vibrations stopping
* ABS light is currently on - I presume the sensors need cleaning or a new sensor.
* My opinion - the wheels look great on the car and I would not change anything about it. It does not rub on the suspension or make weird noises.*
Exterior:
*Exterior condition is a 7/10 in my eyes:
* The previous owner claims he hit the garage backing out/pulling in on the passenger rear side. It never bothered me but it may bother you.
* The paint is pretty clean overall but it does have dings and scratches.
* The passenger sideskirt is slightly loose
* The hood has a few scratches
* Passenger mirror has a chip in the plastic on the inside (not visible from distance)
* Front bumper has daily driving rashes
* My opinion - The rear damage is not a huge deal and can be repaired. I'm sure $500 would do the trick but I do not want to spend any more money on the car. The little dings and scratches here and there do not bother me and reflect the condition relative to the mileage. *
Price/Trades:
I would like $9,900 for the car is it sits.
I will take $9,500 on TSW Rims ( pics below )
I will take $9,000 if you supply your own wheels.
Trades plus cash are welcome but I WILL NOT TRAVEL TO YOU... period. I will also add cash if you have a E46 m3 or NSX.
OLDER PICTURES showing TSWs ( please note, CF hood is no longer on the car ).
