I am selling my 2003 Cadillac CTS, it is Diamond white, and in immaculate condition. It is a MANUAL, and very rare. It has the in dash navigation, along with on star, it also has a mesh grille (not an ebay cheapo either) and 20% tint all the way around. There are NO rips or tears in the leather, and no rust ANYWHERE. The car does have 106,XXX miles because I used it for commuting to and from work, but mechanically there are ZERO problems, and all the maintenance is done on schedule. I also just had the ball joints and tie rod ends replaced. It has 20 inch rims with very good tires and will come with a set of winter rims and tires that have less than 5000 miles on them. Thanks! And about the book, I didnt see a spot on there for a $350 grille, $900. worth of brand new rubber, and how many WHITE, MANUALS, W/NAVI have you seen... Probably none, I searched for this car for a year and a half till I found EXACTLY what I wanted! Nice 67 posts too Dick

There's no "spot" for those things because the effect they have on the value of a car is minimal at best. A quick look on autotrader finds 20 white manual cars in the country right now. Granted, some of those are $60,000+ brand new cts-v's and such, but this one in particular is basically your exact car with 28k fewer miles and they're opening up 3k lower than you.

Is your care rare? No. Is it more rare than the automatic cars? Sure, but that and $2 will get you a cup of coffee. Nice post count insult, that's really an indication of a strong position. Your car looks like a decent high mileage example of a relatively unique car, but in no way do those facts make it worth what you're asking.


I chime in on some of the FS listings because I know cars and I know the market. Some people don't like what I have to say and that's fine, but it doesn't make their cars worth what they're asking. There's a difference between giving yourself room to come down and asking a stupid price that makes people ignore you. I hope for you what I hope for all the other ding dongs expecting the world for their cars, that you find some idiot willing to pay what you're asking, but those people are few and far between in today's market and by asking such exorbitant prices for otherwise unremarkable vehicles you're actually hurting yourselves. Today's consumer has so many resources they would have to almost try to not get a reasonable deal on a car, private party or otherwise. But go ahead, keep being unreasonable with your price and enjoy looking at your car month after month as it depreciates even further, I wish you the best of luck.

And that 8500 wasn't an offer, it was a suggestion. I don't need or want your car, not for 13000 or 1300. Even if it does have RIMS YO.

I think his car is well worth his asking price. White, clean with a few mod's and a manual is rare in these newer cars especally a caddy. Go suck on your momma's tit some more.
