Icon7 2002 Honda Civic Si (tons of JDM parts)

Sadly the time has finally come to sell my EP3. I've owned this car since 2002, bought it brand new with 75 miles.

This car has been well maintained over the years; but now being 14 years old and with 202k miles it's time to say good bye. I'm needing something with 4 doors and a bit more amenities. My only wish is that it goes to a good home.

Located: Houston, TX
Price: $5000 OBO
VIN: SHHEP33552U307743
Miles: 202,600

Engine:
  • K20A3 / 5MT (202,600 miles)
  • Injen Cold Air Intake
  • Gates radiator hose
  • Hondata IM gasket
  • Thermal gasket on throttle body
  • JDM K20A exhaust manifold and catalytic converter
  • 05-06 RSX-S mid-pipe
  • ES rear motor mount
  • Mugen oil cap and radiator cap
  • Wrinkle red painted valve cover and silver coil pack cover
  • Used 5w30 synthetic since around 20k miles, replaced every 8k miles.
Suspension:
  • HFP shocks/struts and springs (~100k miles, no problems from what I can tell)
  • 22mm rear sway bar with ES bushings
  • JDM 25.4mm front sway bar (for K20A header clearance)
  • 05-06 RSX-S 5-lug conversion with Energy Suspension LCA bushings
  • SPC rear camber arms
  • SPC front camber bolts
Exterior:
  • JDM 04-05 CTR front bumper lip/grill (front rebar installed)
  • JDM CTR rear bumper/lip (custom rear steel rebar installed)
  • JDM CTR side skirts
  • HFP rear spoiler
  • JDM CTR red H emblems
  • JDM CTR rear tail lights
  • JDM Union Jack badge
  • EDM LHD 04-05 CTR halogen projector headlights w/ 4300k DDM tuning HID kit and relay harness
  • JDM CTR window visors
  • JDM CTR rear 3rd brake light delete panel
  • Acura CSX rims (identical to CTR rims except a little bit darker) w/ vinyl red H decals, 1 of the wheels has some curb rash
  • 215/45ZR-17 Sumitomo HTR Z III (plenty of tread left, replaced this year March 2016)
  • 20% rear windows tinted (gives it the CTR privacy glass look)
Interior:
  • JDM CTR console/cup holder (includes Type R number plate)
  • JDM CTR rear 3rd brake light delete
  • JDM CTR Momo steering wheel with red "H" decal
  • JDM CTR lighter and ash tray
  • JDM shift boot with base RSX aluminum shift ****
  • Red Recaro mesh DIY door panels
  • Honda all weather floor mats + 2 sets of CTR LHD floor mats
  • Removed cruise control (still have all the parts and can easily be put back on the car if you want)
  • OEM Honda alarm
  • Strut King pedals
  • iPod2Car box and cable, this only works with the old iPod connectors (not lightning cable). Wire is run down to the lower console
Part's that I will also be including with the sale:
  • Megan Midpipe (in order to fit to current exhaust setup you would need to remove about 3" from this midpipe)
  • OEM midpipe (I think I still have this, not 100% sure though)
  • Brand new OEM water pump
  • 02-03 LHD EDM CTR halogen headlights
  • LHD EDM CTR floor mats
  • K20A3 exhaust manifold and old catalytic converter (converter is bad which is why I replaced)
  • Brand new Denso O2 sensor
  • Original front and rear sway bars
  • Original rear bumper (small holes under bumper from when I had the HFP kit)
  • Extra HFP suspension (~50k miles on them)
  • Used serpentine belt tensioner w/ around 100k (still in good shape, replaced as part of routine maintenance)
  • OEM gutted airbox w/ K&N filter
  • OEM front and rear rebar
  • OEM cupholders and console
  • OEM shift **** and boot
  • OEM 12 volt lower console panel
  • Additional set of Recaro mesh door inserts, bought a second set in case I messed up installing.
  • I may still have a pair of JDM CTR tweeter delete panels
  • UKDM CTR gauge cluster with MPH (this was my piece de la restance for when I did a K20A2 swap but never got around to it)
So let's talk about some of the negatives since this is a 14 year old car with 202k miles there are bound to be some:
  • eBrake chrome button has chipped off, I've tried painting it using silver touch up paint.
  • There is a small oil leak on the timing chain cover, looks like it may be coming from the VTC solenoid. Haven't had a whole lot of time to diagnose but the leak seems to be slow.
  • The A/C works fine; however it sounds like the pulley should probably be replaced since it's giving off a slight rattle.
  • The driver's side rear quarter panel was replaced at one point. Passenger quarter panel was also repaired. Both repairs due to accidents. Both times the car was repaired at a local Honda dealer.
  • In ~2010 the car was stolen from my apartment, the passenger door lock was punched in, steering column was tore up along with the immobilizer and the passenger door sash was bent. It didn't look like the thieves drove it, so I'm guessing the car was towed. Car was recovered. All repairs done at a local Honda dealer.
  • Last time I pulled the valve cover to do a valve adjustment I did notice some camshaft galling on the exhaust cam. This was a common problem on the K20A3 and other Honda motors of this vintage.
  • One of the seams on the mesh on the driver's side seat is coming undone. Not horribly noticeable but it's there.
  • Front end has your typical rock chips here and there
  • Your standard issue door dings, maybe 4 or so here and there
Here are a few pictures. I plan on taking more pictures during the week since these ones are maybe a year old now. Overall nothing has really changed with the car.

Also if you want pictures of anything or have any questions related to the car please feel free and ask and I will do my best to provide.

Thanks for looking!

Great looking EP3. I had an '02 and did the full JDM conversion as well, but in the '02-'03 look. I regret selling mine a few years back. GLWS, I would love to buy this and swap in a new K20 motor.
