Default 1997 Acura Integra GSR Sedan, 144k miles, Clean Title

1997 Acura Integra GSR Sedan
Clean Title 144k Miles
2nd owner and has been garage or carport parked every night since new. Full maintenance records from 1996 to 2018 with all work done through High Road Automotive or Honda of Seattle. Timing Belt and Water Pump replaced at 110k in 2013. Everything on the car works flawlessly. No leaks, ticks, smokes, weird noises or deferred maintenance. Only issue is that ABS light will intermittently illuminate while driving. It's very on/off, sometimes not coming on for multiple days, other times coming on within a couple hours of driving. ABS works perfectly until the warning light trips and goes away after car has been shut off. Light parking lot damage on front and rear bumper.

The only modification on the car is a Skunk2 weighted ITR shift ****, stock shift **** can be included as well.

This is the GSR Sedan that you've been looking for. I had wanted a white 98+ but after searching for a couple years and not finding anything to my liking, I found this impeccably maintained 97 model being sold by the original owner and I wasn't letting it get away. Asking price is $6500 and the only trade I am possibly interested in is an automatic Honda Fit or HRV. I can add cash on top if needed.

**5/31 Price drop to $6000**

Someone is going to scoop that up quick, that car is in great shape. And the service records is a HUGE bonus. Are those the stock leather seats? i only ask because they look very different than the leathers my 96 GSR sedan came with.

Thought someone would have jumped on this. Yes the seats are original. I will consider trades other than a Fit or an HRV but it would still have to be something automatic. Maybe a TSX/TL? Would really prefer a Honda HRV and would be willing to add as much cash as needed.

Very nice example; price is right on, hands down.
The OCD side of me is curious whether all factory VIN tags are present on all body panels?
Also, the leather seats seems to be added by the dealer, as the window sticker states that the car came with cloth interior from the factory.

Either way GLWS!

Good catch! Looks like you're right. In that case I would assume this was dealer installed leather similar to how some EM1's are seen with dealer installed leather interior.

Vins are on all panels except for the front bumper and left front fender. Right front fender, hood, all doors, both quarter panels, rear bumper, and trunk all present.

Nobody's jumped on it because for $6,500.00 you can some really nice K swapped stuff out there if you look hard enough. I understand that's not necessarily the same target buyer here, but it gets harder for people to justify in their minds buying a stock Integra for the same price something that's got a lot of really expensive, go-fast bits.

I think it'd sell closer to $5000.00.

have to agree here, for that price you would be expecting more, or way less mileage

Sorry to rain on your parade, but they're right. I love the fact that there is maintenance history and cleanliness. I dont like the price. like he said above, you can get a k swapped hatch for 6, which does not justify your price. Mileage would need to be under 100k, no body damage, and original everything. You have LS wheels. Where are the INFAMOUS blades?? The blades is what makes the GSR original to me. LS meshes are definitely dope too, but I only go LS mesh if I dont get gsr blades. idk man I would say 4k is a good price. glws.

Actually those "LS Mesh" wheels everyone knows them as are also 1997 ONLY GS-R wheels. 1994-1995 are fat fives. 1996 GS-R were 6 smooth spoke sunflowers, 1997 are the meshies, and 1998-2001 are the blades.

1998-2001 LS, GS, and SE wheels were the 1997 GS-R hand me down meshies. 😉

Glad someone here knows their OEM wheels lol. He is correct in that for only the year 1997, GSR's came with these wheels which were later put on facelift base model Integras.

I am not here to get rich, just looking to get into an automatic, normal person, boring car that the girlfriend is able to drive. Taking into account everyones feedback I am dropping the price to $6000, thanks. Will be listed locally on craigslist if there is no interest here in the next few weeks.

I'm sure there's other reasons (wanting something different, etc.) but teach her how to drive a stick?

:D
