History: I am the 2nd owner, purchased in 2007..now 75,650 miles. I am a 70 year old ex Porsche racer from the 70's. I set this s2K up specifically for tracking - never raced. I have done approximately 6 track events. Never a daily driver. I know how to set up cars properly...this one has been done all correct. No mechanical issues, everything works. Very Very fast, handling close to Porsche 911 (passed a lot of them). Well over $20,000 spent.
Never drag raced, never full power in 1st or 2nd gear..road course only. Tastefully/quality MODS only.
Kraftwerks Supercharger stage 2/9psi. John Blake installed. Dyno tuning by Balanced Performance and DKW Motorsports Atlanta area.
400HP/283TQ. Linear hp curve..increases to redline
Other Mods and extras:
ACT HD clutch and pressure plate. Lighter flywheel (AP1 7 lbs less then AP2).
New syncros/throw out bearing..under warranty..Honda recal on 2nd gear syncro.
Laminova oil/water oil cooler..works great.Oil temp 210-220
Boost gauge/air-fuel gauge/oil temp gauge on stalk (see pics)
Shift light/beeper..set to desire
Hondata K-Pro ECU (can't get these anymore)..$1900 (orig ECU incl)
Custom brake ducts to cool front brakes..never any fade..a must for tracking
Hawk HP Plus brake pads. Front sway bar (White 32 mm)
Modified rear brace near diff..Baffled oil pan (tig welded..another must have)
Carbon fiber splitter and rear spoiler..very stable
Bilsteen PSS9's adjustable with Eibach springs..lowered approx 1.25"
Aligned and corner balanced by Gran Tourismo East in Atlanta
Test Pipe(have original Cat), Borla mid pipe, stock rear muffler.
Invidia single outlet exhaust included.
Walbro 255 LPH High output fuel pump - works great (stock incl)
Injector Dynamics 1000 mm fuel injectors (orig incl). Steel braded brake lines.
Tires: Bridgestone RE-11, 225F/255R. Plus, another set of stock wheels with BFG R-1A's
Oil changed every 3-4K miles. Torco, Amsoil, currently Mobil 1 full syn, 10w30
Brake fluid: Motul 600; Diff fluid Mobil syn; Trans: Royal Purple Syncromax
Clear Bra..another must for track use..needs new one.
