***mr.coupe's 97 civic hx coupe for sale!!!***
EDIT: for those who are too lasy to read...this is a shell...there are pictures of the car as a bare shell and as the car looked together. Read the description to find out what comes with the car...if its not on there then its obviously not coming with the car.
Alright...I've held off from doing this for a long time with the hope that I would bring the car back one day, but I don't see that happening for a very long time. I rather let someone else enjoy this car then just let it rot away outside next to the shop. I'm putting every ounce of my time and money into my business (Track. One) and though I still do honda work we are becoming heavily involved with drifting especially with one of our sponsored drivers going Pro and will be competing in Formula D next year.
I'm going to list exactly what is included with the car, if it is not on the list then it's not coming with the car. I'm keeping the J's racing lip as its one of the only ones left...and I plan on building a honda down the road again so I have to keep something from the car that started it all for me
Price is going to be $4,000...which is a steal for what your getting. Theres at least $4k in paint alone. I can arrange to have it shipped country wide if someone really wants her..I'm already getting a quote to California for someone interested on facebook. Car is currently located in Franklin, TN
1997 Honda Civic HX coupe with clean title and roughly 100k on the chassis
I am the 3rd owner...behind a friend of mine and the old lady he bought it from.
-Full color change to GM Blue Gold Crystal Metallic, interior and engine bay are a lighter version of the same color (paint shop screwed up mixing the first 2 gallons of paint). Underside of the car is painted with high strength gray engine paint.
-99-00 tail lights
-all new window and door moldings
-brand new front and rear bumpers
-jdm thin side moldings
-ctr fenders with jdm side markers
-98 Gs-r subframe resprayed gloss black, manual rack also resprayed with new tie rod ends
-suja 1 bushing kit all around with less than 600 miles on them
-all new wheel bearings
-arp extended studs all around
-mfactory roll center adjusters
-rear disk brakes, does not include front brakes
-stock civic suspension, lca's and upper control arms
-cleaned and painted gas tank gloss black
-walbro 255lph fuel pump
-Completely dyed black interior....looks great and has held up for years...some small panels may need touch up..(hard plastic kick panels)
-CTR air vent with pocket
-CTR air bag tray
-Panasonic head unit
-custom wrapped door panel's and headliner
-black carpet
-Full interior except for: front and rear seats, steering wheel, and cluster
-ton's of new oem honda hardware
The bad:
-Front and rear bumper will need to be resprayed
-Dent in the middle of the hood when a wind gust blew it over in the shop
-Still needs to get some wet sanding and buffing done on the paint..we never got a chance to finish but the just the body itself has almost a gallon of clear..so you can wet sand and buff on it for days without burning through.
-Engine bay may need a respray...the prototype mounts I had at the time scratched up the bay a bit.
-you will need to re-do the brake tuck if you wish to go that route...the prop valve is behind the firewall, we had to use the lines for another project.
-might want to re-do the wire tuck for the headlight harness, the first one I did didn't have the glue type shrink tubing so I was gonna redo it but never got a chance.
-no wipers, no heater core, no blower motor...rain-x all day
-no wheels, either you can bring 4 steelies or I can work something out with you and find some
I believe thats it...if I remember something else I'll update
The car was featured in the March 2010 Issue of Super Street Magazine which was my dream since I started the build 3 years prior. Thanks again guys!
http://www.superstreetonline.c....html
The article states I sold it which was the plan at the time but I couldn't do it...well..things change and its time to move on.
She was also honored with being one of the top Honda's of 2009...Thanks again to the Chronicles
I love this car, if it wasn't for this car and all of the work I put into it I wouldn't be where I am today. But in the end its not the car..but the builder behind the car that made it what was. I hope someone can enjoy this thing as much as I did..even though I only got to drive it about 600 miles I did get to spend 3+ years with it in the garage
Now the pictures of how she currently sits, and a few throw back pictures as I was building it...obviously the big brake kit, after market suspension, wheels are not included Only what I have in that list is what comes with the car.
Don't mind the wheels...I did this all the time when the car was sitting in the shop lol
Took all the body panels off to keep them safe inside...car has been under about 4 car covers safe outside the shop
underside paint
What the paint looks like when its clean...this was after getting painted
suja 1 bushings all around...car rode amazinggggggggggg with all new suspension and bushings
More random shots
This shot def shows off the headliner and door panels and black interior
This was an awesome car....hopefully someone can bring it back and enjoy it!
$4,000...low ballers will be ignored
