Default Transmition housing

Is it worth it to replace transmition housing due to cracked drain plug hole.

Yeah, it can spread easily and cause gear damage if not addressed. Someone more skilled than me could probably weld it and fix the crack, but with the price of some junkyard transmisisons, it might be cheaper to get it changed out.

Yes. You will need to shim the diff and the mainshaft. The mainshaft requires OEM specialty tools and a dial indicator.
