Sandrail motor swap

Sandrail motor swap
I have a Joyner sandrail with a d16y7 motor and trans. I wouldn't have wasted my time or money with that motor but it came loose with the frame and I put it all together. Thinking of swapping to a b16 or f20b motor and trans...my question is will my axles fit in either of these trans? I can cut the length no problem but is the diameter and spline teeth the same. I had to spend about $1500 for these axles to be made not wanting to do it again.

The B Series has more splines as far as I am aware. You could always just swap the inner spline on the custom axels if you switch engines. You would still need to cut the Driver side axel. I ended up doing this on D16 to B20 swap, I used the passenger side axel on the driver side and Swapped the inner spline since it came with the engine already connected to the intermediate shaft. The lengths were correct with the new inner.
I think the problem with the axels is first the inner spline and secondly the Intermediate shaft, I don't think the D series even has the intermediate shaft while the B-Series and H-F series do have them, the Driver side Axel will be much longer.
Just a note, the B20s are cheap. Under 500$ and pack a punch for the price. I feel that the HP/Torque numbers are underrated due to the CRV ECU/ Intake/Exhaust.
