richmond spool question reliable??
hey guys..i got a boosted ls vtec making a lil over 400 whp, and im needing sumthing to get me off the line better to improve my 60 ft...i currently have an open diff...i was leaning toward a richmond spool because of my budget instead of a quaife...i dont daily drive my car..i drive it like 3 times a month to the drag strip and thats about it, so im not worried about drivability and steering...im just mainly worried about how well they hold up or if there is any problems encountered with the richmond...thanks guys!!

Re: richmond spool question reliable??
I would go with an M-Factory LSD. Most affordable at the moment and is a quality made product. I would not drive on the street with a spool. Speaking from experience..I only had to drive a few miles to get to the track and almost got into an accident not being able to steer very well to avoid another car. Was a close call. Not worth it in my opinion. Would just wait a bit longer and save up some more $ Will be worth the wait!

I have had both. Obx failed. I even did all the prep and upgrades. Buy an mfactory from syncrotech and never have to worry.
