Removing Diff Bearings

How do you guys go about removing the bearings on your differential? Screwdrivers won't do it. Tried heating it up, perhaps not for long enough, but I feel that heating it whilst still pressed onto the carrier might not be too effective. Attempt to apply more heat than before? What might a shop do differently?
K series btw

I'm not familiar with K-series, but on D-series and B-series I use a bearing separator with a set of face grip pullers and a step plate adapter. I'm pretty sure mine is rated for 10 tons. I bought it all from McMaster-Carr. You can see it in use here:

the setup he uses is overly complicated. just use a large bearing separator, harbor freight 8-9 inch, it's like $20-40. then put a large 2 jaw puller on the separator and put a plate off of your wheel bearing kit on the shaft. use a wrench or ratchet or an impact electric or pneumatic and that at least will take off the outer race if not the whole thing, than you can put that separator on the inner race and it will take that off if it even needs to come to that. skip to minute 6:00 and you can see this demonstrated
