Questions about new 96 Civic DX axels.
I bought two new axles for my 96 Civic DX manual and wanted to know if this sounds right.
Should the telescopic end be sucked all the way in or out while not installed? The pair I bought both have that end sucked all the way in and it's hard to extend by hand.
Also one CV joint on each new axel is very stiff and feels like it's grinding when I bend it by hand while the other end is much smoother and not as stiff but also not as smooth as I would expect out of something with bearings. They are supposed to be new non-refurbished from O'Reilly's.
If they sound like duds which brand would you recommend and which part store would be likely to carry them?
