Which hydraulic line to use for my 2000 Si setup?
I have a 2000 Civic Si with a swapped B18B motor in it. I am looking to purchase a new hydraulic line and noticed that there is a part number just for the "Si" submodel and another part number for the "ex, dx, etc." Does anyone know what the difference is between the two? Different length? Different ends? Si's seem to have a rubber line and the other models have hardlines.
I am looking at the Russell Performance SS line from Summit Racing
for Si part #: 684720
for non Si part #: 684710
I know for sure the Si line will connect without a problem to my existing cluth cylinder, but what about the end that connects to the transmission?
If you guys are wondering why the heck I have a B18B in my Si? Here is why...
My car is one of the many Civic's that have been stolen and stripped. I am on a budget and need to get my car running. I purchased a JDM B18B because of the price. The basterds that stole my car cut my OEM rubber hydraulic line so now I need to source out a replacement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
