Hi,

I apologize for my bad english, I'm french.

I have a vtec CRX (EE8) of 1991 with a b16a1 and a gearbox type Y2 (with cable). I am looking for a short final drive bolt on to my gearbox type Y2.
A final drive 4.785 suit me perfectly for my use found on this website :

The reference is : Choose : GX-HO105 - 4.785(B16A/LS) - ROADRACE/AUTOCROSS (+ $665.00)

So the final drive is bolt on ys1 but what about to YS2 ?
Should I change my clutch?

The GX-HO-105 will not fit the Y2. The Y2 has different splines and needs a FD set made to fit the 89-91 B series. We have a 4.92 ratio FD set that fits the Y2 if you want to go with this ratio.

Arf, thank you for your response. I'm afraid the final dive 4.9 is much too short for my use ....

is there any direct bolt on 4.7 fd for the y2 gearbox??

Nothing currently from any of the major companies. There might be some from some of the more obscure Japanese or European companies, but its unlikely.
