EK tranny on EG, which clutch/flywheel to use
Hi there,
So i've got a D15 - Z6 minime engine which i'm about to turbo. Planning on around 200HP.
The tranny on it now is the oem s20 tranny that came on the D15B2 engine. I am planning on swapping this tranny for a s40 from an EK3.
Reason is the EK3 is a vtec-e and has some of the longest gear ratios and i would like to have a higher top speed.
So the standard clutch diameter for my current tranny is 212mm and for the EK3 tranny its 200mm.
What kind of setup do i need to run?
Do i keep my current flywheel with a 200mm clutch, or can i keep my current clutch and flywheel, or do i need to buy all s40 flywheel and clutch.
If someone could shed some light on to this i would be very happy.
