Default Driver side CV axle not fitting (2000 civic with B18B1)

I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX 4 door sedan that had a B18B1 swap and auto to manual conversion done by the previous owner. He used an S80 tranny. The motor is from a 1997 Integra (decoded the VIN on the motor) that was originally an auto.

Today I was changing my CV axles, which were made for a 1997 Integra, and the driver side axle was different. On the inboard side, instead of a male end with splines along the whole length, it was a female end. The intermediate shaft has a female end where the axle goes. Check out the pics in the link below. Any idea what kind of driver side CV axle I need?

Yep. And if you ever need a driver's side axle seal you'll need to order it for a '90 - '93 Integra as well.

All b-series passenger side axles are the same, only driver side is different depending on inter. shaft

I got the correct part today and installed it, part number HO-8003 (rather than the incorrect HO-8121) from O'Reilly auto parts. Also got a new bellows kit for the driver side as it was torn. Yes, it was the CV axle for a 1990 Integra.

Lesson learned: When you buy a car with a swap already in it, be ready to find out these little quirks and nuances as you do repairs.

I goofed, meant to put driver's side axle seal, it's fixed now, but yes, passenger's side are all the same.
