clutch issues
 

So before trolling I could use help then I'm game for a good kick in the *** lol. I just swapped for a 98 civic with a B16A and I believe a LS hydraulic trans he wasnt sure said it came with the swap. My clutch pedal engagement is right off the floor so I bled the slave no air in it but when I bleed the slave the pedal sticks to the floor and I have to bump it and it pops back up. I jave bought a new slave cylinder an will replace this evening but my question is could that be the culprit or is it more than likely the clutch itself. I havent owned a Honda in over 10 years so I'm rusty as hell on them lol thanks in advance

The pedal stays to the floor because once you open and close the bleed screw it releases the pressure in the lines. When you close the bleed screw and lift the pedal, more fluid is sucked into the master from the reservoir.

check under the dash where the master comes through the firewall and see if there any fluid leaking there, could be your master. Also check the adjustment of the push rod into the master.

No leaks I just pulled the old slave cylinder off an it feels almost as strong as the new one the pedal engages about 1/2 inch off the floor i know that the hydraulic trans are self adjusting so no adjustment to the pedal for engagement. When I removed the old slave cylinder it seems like there is a good bit of play in the clutch fork but if i remember right I think it just pivots on a little ball in the trans. No grinding of gears or slipping of thw clutch that I've felt so i don't think the throw out brg is bad nor the clutch in just not sure how to get the clutch to engage higher in the pedal

No, the master cylinder itself is adjustable. Not sure how to do it, though.

Under the dash, there is a jam nut against the clevis that connects the MC push rod to the pedal. Loosen the jam nut, adjust the rod length to your desired pedal height, then re-tighten the jam nut.

ok I'll give that a shot i thought that was just too adjust the free play in the pedal thanks
