Default clutch is being forced and doesnt spring up?

okay so i've installed a 12 lbs flywheel with a brand new 6 puck clutchmaster kit. So my clutch definitely has alot of pressure, but for about the first halfway step of the clutch pedal its very light with no pressure, then once i hit half way the pedal you feel alot of pressure, but i have to force it down and it does not spring back up like how a clutch should. I also hear a squeaking noise by the fork almost like its rubbing against something. need help guys. no leaking, master cylinder and slave is working good.
