Can you identify this clutch type LSD?

Can you identify this clutch type LSD?
Its from a B-series, cable operated clutch. It came as a sprare tranny with the 91 civic I bought.
Serial Number of bearings; NTN, JAPAN EH, TMB208CZ, and TMB208CX1
As I can't find the maker, I can't find a rebuilt kit. Clutches are paper thin, no more grooves on them.
I need to rebuilt this!
Thanks!

Re: Can you identify this clutch type LSD?
That is not the normal LSD that comes in a cable case. Looks to be some kind of after market. The clutch type found in a cable trans has the ring gear made on to and is not replaceable. When you take out what you would first think to be ring gear bolts your actully splitting the lsd.
I know I was not much help to you maybe somebody will be. Atleast you know to look at after market companys

Re: Can you identify this clutch type LSD?
there are people on here that can answer your question, but most don't want to bother I have found. Actually this thread answered a question I have asked several times on different posts in the past year. I had a LSD with non removable/non replaceable ring gear. couldn't find out what it came in or who made it. I was told by the "experts" that they have never heard of such a thing. I thought I must be loosing my mind, I bought it out of a broken hydro b series tranny and took it to a "friend" named Aidan at 5150 racing, to put into an LS box...Never saw it again. a year later I got my tranny case back, all filled with junk parts, including a different LSD(Viscous) with a broken ring gear on it which can't be replaced in the USA. Even my case was wrecked by the "builder" and I had to buy everything over again. Sorry for the rant, but finally I now see there is such a thing as as a non removable ring gear type diff. Anybody know what type; Viscous, Helical, or plate type?
66 x 15 tooth is 4.40 ratio, came in most B trannys except LS.

Re: Can you identify this clutch type LSD?
there are two 10 bolt diffs for Bs. measure ring ID and carrier OD!!! If you don't have calipers, wrap a piece of paper around, mark it, flatten back out, measure the length and divide by 3.1415 to get diameter. LMK. Nobody can help you without some information. we don't have crystal *****.

Re: Can you identify this clutch type LSD?
THE REASON WHY I ASK IS BC MY RING GEAR WONT FIT ON THE GSR MEANING IT CAN ONLY THEN FIT A B16 ___---- DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE?

Re: Can you identify this clutch type LSD?
If the ring gear is part of the LSD (ie when you disassemble the differential), you will see teeth along the ID of the ring gear. This is a Viscous LSD. No B-Series came with an oem Plate LSD. You have three options:
- Open Diff
- Viscous Diff
- Helical Diff (Type-R Only)
If you have the Viscous Diff, then you are out of luck. To change anything requires changing the entire differential assembly i.e Diff, Ring Gear, Pinion. The parts are not interchangeable with anything else
The LSD posted in the 1st post, that is a 1.0way Plate LSD. This is an aftermarket unit, not oem.

Re: Can you identify this clutch type LSD?
I hate to be the one bringing back up a 6 year old thread..... but anybody figure out what diff. this is posted in the original post. I was given a transmission with this same LSD diff. inside and I am also trying to figure out who makes it.
