Unfortunately telling a company that their part broke your car, and you need reimbursing is not that simple. A thorough inspection of the parts is necessary to determine the root cause of the bearing failure. Your basic visual assessment that this is exedys **** up has no technical reasoning to back it up. Installation errors as well as manufacturing defects happen from time to time so of course Exedy wants to see parts for inspection.

I'm not sure if this is true or trolling.
Shouldn't you have heard something grinding in your transmission? Then when you topped off the trans fluid, didn't you notice it poured right back out? Your first thought when you see fluid should be, "Why is this here?" Exedy will blame this on your neglect to perform maintenance on a piece that has failed. They will warranty the failure of the throwout bearing and blame the transmission failure on you.
Seek legal advice and try and pass it on to who ever installed the clutch kit.

I've talked to another shop and somethings came up. I feel like an ******* for jumping the gun but I'm working on cleaning it up and getting this taken care of using other avenues.
My apologies to Exedy, and Honda Tech for bringing this on here. It did get results, though.
