The best clutch for the best price
Okay so its time for a new clutch in my stock 99 dc4. So i have been thinking might as well go for an upgrade because I am tired of my cousin making me look stupid on pulles in his low compression b20 swapped dc4 and i am sure a new lighter flywheel and better clutch will help me with my problems. I was wondering if anyone has experience and could tell me from that, what the best clutch and fly wheel combo is. I am working with a tight budget around 600 for all parts. I have had some in mind so far like the stage two competition clutch part number CK-8026-2 which i have heard good reviews about. To many horror stories about my other options like xtd stage3, xtr stage3 and f1 stage3. I have also been told that me getting a stage3 clutch would be stupid for my application. You guys have never steered me wrong so far with my teggy so any input on this matter will greatly be appreciated.

Exedy OEM replacement clutch or Exedy stage 1 clutch on ebay. Exedy is Honda's main OEM supplier for clutches, buy on ebay and it's less than a third of what you would pay at the dealer. There is absolutely no point in putting in an aggressive puck clutch in a stock car, all that's going to happen is a lot of shock loading on the diff and the car will be a pain to drive in traffic.

Never got to install the competiton stage 2 clutch. But I have driven one since my last post. I deff a hard clutch. Seems to be a little too hard from a stage two. I am kswapping my integra now and I decided to go with an Exedy stage 2 clutch kit and a Comp clutch lightweight flywheel. I have driven the set up before and I like it alot. I am also a fan of the clutch masters fx 300. My buddy has it in his TSX

Re: The best clutch for the best price
currently i have a ACT 6puck unsprung its out of life but its from 2007 and has taken plenty of abuse and was amazing i have no complaints with them
It is now time for a replacement and my local shop advised me to go with CC i got the whole kit flywheel and all... cant wait it will be here tomorrow.
My buddy already has one in his DC with a oem flywheel but that thing grabs nice

Re: The best clutch for the best price
I have decided to replace my OEM clutch on my DD 2006 type S due to the throw out bearing making noise when cold. I went with the Comp Clutch stage1. Keep on a lookout hopefully will be doing a write up this soon.
