VOUCHES and other parts for sale: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2057166
I'm getting ready to move across town and I REALLY need this hatch out of my garage. If someone wants to come pick it up, I'll give it to you for $200. The cage alone was $750, plus another $750 of fab. Never mind the strait, rustless body.
1990 Honda Civic DX Hatch - Rolling Chassis - Prepped for K series.
$200 cash and/or open to trades. Will ship if generously compensated for time and effort required to do so.
For the most part, what you see is what you get. Before finishing, I had a change of heart and decided to part out the project. We're saving for a down payment on a house instead. This is basically only a rolling chassis. You will certainly need a parts car or the like to complete. The body is very, very strait with only a couple dings here and there. The strut towers in the back have also been stitch welded for added rigidity (see pic #s 5, 8 & 9).
PM me with any questions. I'll be happy to answer.
Included:
-Suspension (factory struts and eBay coilovers)
-Door Glass
-Quarter Panel Glass
-Rear Hatch with Glass
-Front Bumper Support
-Door Handles
-OEM Front Crossmember (although it will not work with K series)
-OEM Rear Crossmember (notched for K series header clearance, but needs to be welded back up.)
NOT Included:
-T-bar in Pic#1
-Front End Parts (i.e. bumper, hood, lights, fenders)
-Front Brake Lines. They were removed in favor of a custom setup.
-Rear Bumper
-Front Windshield
-Black Fuel Cell in Pic #10 and Pic #11. (SOLD)
-No wiring whatsoever.
-Custom Fuel Cell Cover in Pic 7, 8, 9, 12 etc (SOLD)
-Rear Bumper Support
-Side Moldings
The firewall has a custom cover tach welded in. This was designed for a Tilton pedal assembly, but the firewall cover can easily be removed for a traditional setup. The strut tower brace is permanent and welded to the firewall. K series passenger mount bracket is welded in (could be removed if B series is desired). The engine bay is shaved and most seems are welded. However, most welds have not been grinded smooth. There is some slight surface rust in the bay because it was media blasted to remove all paint and seem sealer.

-8pt Custom Roll Cage - DOM Tubing - My fab guy said this cage is good for 10.0 or higher NHRA standards. It was designed with aluminum door panels in mind, so OEM door panels and other interior pieces will likely NOT fit.

Pic#6 - Amazing fitment. You can't even get a finger between the main hoop and the roof.
