whinning noise coming from pulley after re tensioning timing belt. tensioner pulley?

i got my lost motion assembly done on my b16 at buddies shop, in the meantime he had to remove timing belt, and the alternator belt etc to do the job. since then this is what my car sounds like for the first 30 seconds or so then it goes away. noise comes from pulley.

This is not my car, but the noise is identical.

Iv already replaced alternator so i know its not the pulley on that. but it has to come from some sort of pulley or bearing i assume, cause it disappears as the car warms up. what bearing could it be? do i have an idler pulley bearing? The guy in the video said it was his ac idler pulley then the noise was gone once he replaced it, but i dont have ac in my car. my only belt is for alternator thats it. but this video is the exact noise that i hear from the pulley area. i think one of the bearing for timing belt?? could it be that the timing belt is too tight? i have no clue. any help on what it could be. the noise was not there before the job.

i was told perhaps its the tensioner pulley. since the timing belt was now "re tensioned" it could have casued this noise to come. make any sense? was also told that i dont have an idler pulley and its either tensioner pulley or water pump. thoughts?

That Subaru sounds like a power steering pump to me.

On my car, the A/C compressor started making a terrible racket that sounded like bearings running dry. Like your noise, mine goes away after 10-30 seconds.

the guy in the video said it ended up being his ac idler pulley. since i dont have ac, the only bearings that could make this noise are the tensioner bearings. my mechanic told me my b16 doesnt have an idler pulley so it rules that out.
