Wheel hub removal / replacement

Im going to be removing the front wheel hubs on my 94 integra soon. They have bad studs (stripped) and the wheel bearings I believe are on their way out.

I am looking for detailed instructions or a how-to on this. More specifically, I need to know what particular tools i will need.. such as separating the knuckle from the wheel hub. and pulling and putting on the new wheel bearings.

Here are the steps that I know to do:

1 remove 32mm axle spindle nuts
2 remove rotor
3 separate lower ball joint
4 press/separate the axle out of the hub
5. set the brake/caliper assembly to the side
6. what do i do from here??

tia

Put #5 before #2, and seperate all the ball joints then take out the knuckle and swap bearings with a press.

Take the knuckle out, take it to a machine shop, and have them press the old bearings out and new ones in. Removing the kunckle simply involves separating the balljoints, tie-rod ends, and the caliper/rotor. Don't even waste your time trying to do the bearings yourself (unless you have a press).

How hard is it to separate the tie-rod ends? do you need a special tool for it?

I have a whole new pair of wheel hubs with new wheel studs already pressed in, I just need to get the wheel bearings on the new hubs... do i need to get those pressed on as well?

Im not sure how the knuckle attaches to wheel hub... can someone explain this part?

Nope, remove the castle nut, then hit it with a sledge hammer from the bottom on the stud. Or use a separating fork, but that will tear your boots. Or, buy the $20 tool to remove them, but it's so much qquicker and easier to just hit it from the bottom.

Do not do this. You can deform the end of the stud and end up having to replace the whole joint. You can use one tool to do all the ball joints. It's called a pitman arm puller and you can pick one up for like $15 at autozone.
