do i have get my car rewired completely??? Major wire damage
Lighter shorted out and caused the other wires to get burned together. the wires are burned together causing the car not to start. The ignition fuse and the lighter/radio fuse are blown. Can I fix this myself?? Or should I go to a auto electric shop to have them rewiring everything??
I really don't want to spend hundreds of dollars...

Well, if its just a short section of wires, it should be an easy job and you can probably handle it. You should be able to buy replacement wire at an auto store, try and get the same gauge. Also, soldering would be the best method to reconnect them.

i have another question.... none of the wires broke apart or anything, can i just clean them off and wrap electrical tape around them??
Will that damage anything??? Will that work???
Cutting the burned wires and soldering new ones on seems to take forever...

if the wires are still intact then just seperate the ones that melted together and tape them up. If a wire actually burnt in two then you have to solder or splice them
