Default Troubleshooting: Exhaust leak after o2 sensor -What to expect

so I have b18 headers and he o2 goes right at the end of the down pipe. I have a wideband and I’m reading pretty lean readings I believe and I know I have pretty major exhaust leaks but all after the o2. I don’t have a donut gasket (I just threw the exhaust on for now I’m and I’m trying to find the right sized gasket to fit) in so that’s annoying and I can even feel a loss in power that I believe is from that but since it’s so close to the o2 could it give me more lean readings on my aem wideband?

I can't say for sure that it would cause lean readings, I know when I started my old EM1 on an open header (just installed a new O2 sensor and had the exhaust off for a new gasket), my wideband O2 sensor was a few inches in front of where the header ended and it started to read lean shortly after starting, once I put the rest of the exhaust on the readings went back to normal. This was my only experience with something like what you are talking about, other than my wideband O2 failing and reading lean all of the time.
