Default Troubleshooting:*Solved*- S2000 AP2 dash cluster in EG; RPM erratic

RESOLVED: Oddly enough, even though the OE cluster was not acting up like the AP2 tachometer, changing the ignition control module fixed it (for now at least, fingers crossed).

Just installed an S2000 AP2 cluster into my EG. All the wiring is done correctly as far as testing goes. Everything works.

Modifry is working.
Speedohealer V4 is working.
ALL accessory lights work as they should.

This is the thing: when I drive the car and coast in ANY gear, the RPM tach will bounce -/+ 800 RPM, the motor itself drives SMOOTH AS CAN BE with no hiccups. It will continuously bounce as long as I'm coasting at ANY speed in ANY gear. As soon as I step on the pedal to accelerate, the RPMs register correctly and will incline as I accelerate. As soon as I let off and coast, it will begin to bounce again. IT DOES NOT DO THIS IN NEUTRAL.

Again, the drivability is not any different, it drives as smooth as normal just as it did with the stock cluster, but the RPM tach bounces with the AP2 cluster.

I came to a conclusion that it cannot be my ignitor, because the RPMs DO NOT bounce when I plug in my stock EG cluster.

I have double checked the wiring, and all wires seem to be nicely secured with no loose ends.

I double checked the pinouts and they are correctly pinned.

Has anyone experienced this? Any input is appreciated.
