they do but im sure they know that the dealers are not working. i havea 05 type s with 15k and rear bald tires and smoked clutch and broken ring and pinion gear's and the kid told his dad i was not racing the car the rear brakes were melted into the rotors and the front looked like a god dam cheetah. so i got the car and found the over rev code and was crusing @ 11.2 k and i seen $$$$ signs for me lol. so i got a shoping list together and the advisor made the call the car was only 5 months old the dad was so pissed off he came down and talked to me asking how this happend so i told him. kids was busted but he knew he had been racing it.
but i dont get it when the engine misses a gear why is the dumb *** keeping his foot buried in the throttleif they know they are in the wrong gear then why not get out of it and shift or push the clutch in.

You run it up to the top of thrid gear, go to powershift 4th, but in your exitement you accidentally yank it into second. As soon as the clutch engages the damage is done. That's the only way they'll rev that high.

goto love that when it happens. i have driven a few rsx's and you really have to push hard to get it into 2nd from 3rd even at about 6k
