TPS Problem

Okay, got a 91 CRX with DOHC ZC and OBD0. I just rewired the car, hoping to fix this problem, but didn't. The TPS is newer so I don't think it's the problem, but let me know what you think:

-Engine off, key in on position with TPS connector hooked up, the red/blue wire (ECU input wire), shows about 0.45 volts at 0% and 4.3-4.5 volts at 100%. There is 4.99 volts from the green/white wire (multiple ground for IAT, ECT, and some other ones so I know it's good) and yellow/white wire. I also, tested the resistance of the green/white wire to ground and it's a good ground.

-Then I start it up, if I have my foot on the gas a little when I start it and have it running for a few seconds the TPS values are normal like 0.60-1.0 volts(like 10-20% throttle), but then I take my foot off and let it idle the voltage goes down to 0.10 volts or less (I checked at the TPS and at the pin in the ECU, both have same value). If i rev it up of course it stumbles and sounds crappy and the voltage only goes up to maybe 1 volt at the most (probably 80-100% throttle). I checked the 5 volt power supply and green/white ground wire also, but the whole time it stays the same. I tested everything with the TPS plugged in and I checked everything with my Fluke multimeter like I always do, so I know it's not the meter. When I datalog the voltage on there shows 2.20 volts when the TPS voltage goes crazy, but the ECU puts it at that value as kind of a limp mode.

-I tried checking the TPS with the engine off, key on and just moving the throttle open and closed slowy and fast and the voltage goes up nice and steady and back to the right 0.45 volts at 0% throttle.

Re: TPS Problem

I cleaned the connection points on TPS and now it's doing something weird. It will have the right voltage at idle and at just 10-20%, but anything over 50% then the voltage is weird. It seems fine, but will randomly freak out. I might just get a new TPS and go from there.
