you will need a press. your gonna have to press the hub apart to remove the wheel studs. Sometimes you even need the press to push the studs out, or you can beat them https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif To put them in, I usually just put the studs in, oil them a little, put some washers on it and crank them tight with a lug nut to pull them the whole way. Then put the hub part together

ok, thanks, so its not a job to do without a little time and a press.

you dont HAVE to havea press. use a sledge, and then bring the new ones on with lug nuts and an impact

i dunno about you, but last time i changed mine, i needed to take the hub apart which i needed a press to do. http://images.honda-tech.com/set1//smile/emcrook.gif

you dont necessarily need a press to get the job done, but it will make it hell of alot easier w/ one. by the time you're hammering away the hub to knock it off you'll be saving yourself alot of time just having it pressed out. took me about 1hr before hammering my hub in. once i got it done, it was all screwed up...had to buy new ones and replace them again. but the second time, i paid a shop to press it in for me.

You do not need a press, you need air tools and a slide hammer.

Re: (90blackcrx)

all you really need is a slide hammer... air tools help but are not a must...

saying you don't need a press is like saying

you don't need a hoist to do a swap
