Timing Belt BS
Timing was way off on my first gen Integra. Cams matched but at #1 TDC the crank mark wasn't even close and the belt was loose.
I slipped the belt off the cam gears without having to loosen the tensioner, rotated the crank so that it was set correctly, and now the tensioner is tight and I don't have enough slack to slip the belt back over the cam gears. I popped the plug and loosened the tensioner bolt to try and push it back down to get the belt on and I either dont have enough leverage or ... I have no idea. How tf do I get the belt back on without having to remove the crank pulley and lower side cover because that sounds like a ton of bs. |
