Throttle Body & Manifold
I bought a new intake manifold for my 98 Integra ls. From what I've seen's it a ITR or skunk2 or something exactly like it. What I'm woundering is if I should get a new throttle body to go with it and if so what kind? Sence it's exactly like an ITR should I just go with one of those or will it not make that big of a difference for the price? Also will this manifold affect smog or will I need to swap it out to pass?(I live in CA)?
Thanks for any help. |
its more than like a skunk2 manifold

Re: (PrettyLude)
Your stock throttle body will work fine, but if you get a bigger throttle body, make certain that it is port matched to your intake manifold.

Re: (LSVTEC 91 Civic)
Is a bigger Throttle body going to give me some more HP or would it just be a waist of $300?

on a na motor the gains are very minimal, but on a fi motor, its a plus

What would an fi motor be? Fuel Injected? If yes then your saying it would be a good idea for my car? And also would it be a good idea to get a throttle body spacer? Any power gains from that? |
forced induction, not fuel injected, lol
