What is the maximum amount of airflow in lb/min or lb/hr, normally aspirated, that a B16 head can support? I know you can boost a B series to at least 550 hp, from what i've seen/heard from other peoples cars on this forum. I wonder because I was talking with some friends, and the airflow=HP subject came around.

I thought this was the place for technical questions to be answered. Guess not.

Nobody knows the answer, because there IS no answer. There is no definitive maximum a head can support. Yes, you will reach a point of diminishing returns, but thats about it.

Any idea what that point may be, or is that in the realm of dyno rooms and flow benches?
