Code 13 ( Barrometric Pressure ) ??????? Whats the reason?

Code 13 ( Barrometric Pressure ) ??????? Whats the reason?
I hooked up my SMC 500 and now I throw a code 13 which is a barrometric pressure code. I try to reset it by either pulling the ground or pulling the ecu fuse, but it doesnt go away? Any idea what the cause is? My car runs ok but idles wierd, im guessing because its in limp mode from the code? Any help would be appreciated!

How are you using the SMC... are you using it to do an "injector" hack with larger injectors and a limited map voltage? If you are boosting and you're doing your fuel management this way then you haven't trimmed enough voltage from the MAP which is probably why you get that code.
If I'm off base here totally then I apologize...
(One other thing you might check... if the SMC is actually wired in to intercept the MAP voltage, check all your wiring to make sure you're hooking the right ones up in the right places. Also, solder and wrap all your connections.)
