Swapping Fields for APEXi Vtec?

My SFC -VTEC is finally shooting craps i believe, so i am going to get a APEXi Unit. Should most of the wiring be the same and just require me to switch it out? If not what wires will i have to re-wire?

Its a p61 ecu, db2 gsr obd-1.

There are a couple other wires that the VAFC has that the Fields doesn't have.

If the Field's unit is already soldered into teh ECU harness, you can just cut the Field's unit out and use the wires from that unit and then tap whatever other wires you need at the ECU harness.

My SFC crapped out but the shift beep and tacho still worked so I left it in with just the power, ground and RPM wire hooked up

Oh well.

I got everythig in ok. there were also a couple wires that the fields used that the sfc-vtec doesnt, like the speed sensor. Other than that, it was all te same 'cept the throttle sensor the apexi uses and that grounds the apexi uses. Someone read my other post about the rev limit im hitting now to see if you can help me there :-D
