Story and a Question....
I have some major issues with my civic. My Crank Pulley/Harmonic Balancer, started wobbling yesterday. I towed my car home, got te pully off to see how bad it was. The pully bolt was stripped of threads for the first 1/4 inch of the bolt. Where the bolt threads into the crank shaft isn't pretty either. The Lock Key (not sure the technical term for this) Is sheared and the slot it fits into is not looking good either. The balancer has to be replaced. I am going to go head and do the timing and water pump as well as all the belts while I have it this far apart. I am very hesitant about buying a new pulley and key and bolt and putting it back into the damaged crank. Now here is the question.
I have a spare that i have tried to get rid of numerous times but no one wants it b18c block along with it I have its crank shaft and other internals. Does anyone here know if the b18c crank will work in a d15 block ?? Its a shot in the dark but since I already have it i figured it is worth asking. |

Or better yet can I swap all my accessories and bolt this up to my tranny with all of my electronics?? a - D16y7. Just trying to figure out the easiest way to get my car up and running. Not looking for an upgrade or a head ache.. I already have that.

I am pritty sure that the b18 crank wont work in your d series block... Buy a stock replacment or grab one from another D block.
