Stalling/Starting Problems
 

I'm having problems with my engine stalling at idel, and also, when randomly driving the engine cuts off, but when i turn the car on and off, it run normal again. Also, sometimes it will die at idel and then will not start up again. After leaving it sit for 10 mins of so, it will start back up with no problems. The car has been sitting for about a month due to a dead alternator which i replaced a few days ago.
my first guess would be fuel filter, i just wanted to get some outside help

yeah i would like to know too. my friend's car is doing the exact same thing exept the engine doesnt die at idle. im guesing it's either the fuel pump or the injectors being badly clogged.

i put in a new fuel pump, and checked for water in the gas tank. Either one of both of these things fixed the problem https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Yea sometimes, my car won't turn over. I'll turn the key in the ignition and nothing, no sound at all. Then if I wait like 5 seconds and do it again, it turns over??? Also I have problems w/stalling at idle sometimes. I have to keep my engine revved for a bit, then it's okay. But sometimes, my rpm's will drop and my car wil stall? I do have skunk2 IM which has no coolant circulating in the IM maybe that's it. I have a 2001 Prelude BTW.

check your grounds, one off the tranny, one off thebattery, and the valve cover
