Spark issue

Hey there, I have sort of a weird problem. I changed the cams in my built NA motor yesterday back to stock so that I could aircare it. When I put everything together the car ran like a bag of shit. Sounds like its missing. I had a slight problem before when I had the old cams in of blowing out the spark at mid-high rpms.

Well I eliminated the plug wires as the problem(brand new ngk's), as well as the plugs(brand new bkr7e's).

I just threw the brand new plugs in and ran the car for about 5 minutes. I shut it off cause it was still running shitty and pulled the plugs to see what they looked like. Plugs 1 & 4 were black/wet smelled of fuel. Plugs 2 & 3 looked brand new still. I took the dist cap off as well and it Looked ok.

What do you guys know of that can cause this? Im becoming increasingly frustrated with this motor http://is.rely.net/1-92-83128-l-OQ7p...WduI005zmA.gif

make sure your timing is correct

timing seems ok. It is like a missfire at idle and whenever it revs up.

Did you perform a valve lash adjustment after putting in the new cams? I find it hard to believe that a new set of NGK wires and plugs is causing problems.

Yes I did, and i think i narrowed the problem down to overfueling (dsm 450's + resistor box + oem ecu)

Yeah, my next question would have been the fuel setup and management. You need to have that ECU tuned for your setup.
