SKUNK2 cam settings?

Anyone have SKUNK2 cams, and if kind enough could you tell me what a good setting would be with the intake & exhaust gears. Any help would be appreciated. (There is no dynojet any where near where I live)

Cam gear settings are completely motor-dependant. One persons motor may make the best power @ -2, -5. Another motor may produce the best power @ +4, -1. If you are dyno-challenged, you can do your own tuning the way that I've done it. All that you need is a stop-watch, a straight section of a deserted road, or large, abandoned parking lot & some land marks. A friend could help things also, but it's not necessary. Pick a telephone pole or other marker as your starting point & select a gear to use depending on how much room you have. You're going to use the stop-watch to clock how long it takes you to go from 2000rpm, to the thousand number nearest your redline. Coast @ 2000rpm until you hit the designated starting point, then floor it & start the stopwatch @ the same time. You'll want to use the highest gear that you have room for, make sure that the car is warmed up, and do the testing in the early afternoon so that any outside temperature change during the testing is minimal. It would be best to write down the outside temperature, barometric pressure & humidity for future reference, but it's not necessary. Use this article as your tuning guide;
http://www.motortecmag.com/archives/...FEB010501.html
Start with the cams @ 0, 0 to get some base runs. Make sure that the engine is up to operating temp, then make some base runs & write down your times. Do base runs until you get some consistency with the times. Then tighten the LCA a few degrees & reset the computer. Get the car back to operating temp & do a few runs with the car @ this setting, writing down your times. Compare these times with your base times, and adjust the gears accordingly as recommended in the article.
